Before you trust any score
- Order a sample and time the delivery to your own address.
- Work out profit after ads in the profit calculator (or the TikTok Shop calculator if you sell there).
- Find a faster supplier if shipping scored low: filter by country on SupplierFinder.
- Test small before you commit money to stock or a big ad budget.

Frequently asked questions
How is the score worked out?
Each of the six areas (demand, competition, margin, shipping, trademark and legal risk, repeat purchase) gets 0 to 3 points from your answers. The total is turned into a score out of 100. Some answers, such as using a brand name you don’t own, are red flags that cap the result whatever the score.
Is a high score a guarantee?
No. It means the idea has no obvious deal-breakers on your answers. You still need to order samples, check real delivery times and test with a small budget.
What margin do I need for dropshipping?
There is no official number. The quiz treats a gross margin (price minus product and shipping cost) below 25% as risky, because platform fees, refunds and ads usually come out of what’s left. Check your real numbers in the profit calculator.
